This ensemble was designed and made by the Gallery of Wearable Art in NYC which is now permanently closed between Park ave and Madison ave. The owner Bronnie Kupris would often take antique textiles and modern fabrics and make wedding dresses, coats, and evening wear. This ensemble is made of a striped fabric with a raspberry and leaf pattern in sage green and tan. It is done in crewel work in a vine pattern of flowers and leaves. The jacket has a cotton boa like trim from the collar all the way around and on the sleeves. Three large hook and eye closures, the back has the same pattern of flowers. It is lined in silk. The long skirt has a slight a line to it in with a large slit up the back. Zips up the back with a hook and eye closure. Shoulders 15in, sleeves 23in, armhole 7.5in, bust 38in, waist 29in, hips 40in, length of skirt 42in, length of jacket 24in.
