This dress is a showstopper, the bodice is woven pleated chiffon with spaghetti straps, silk chiffon is the outer layer of the skirt, full skirt with gussets, the next layer is crepe, and inner layer is silk taffeta. Designed by Marie Louise Grouyé. She opened her contoured house in 1928, she learned her trade at collet soeurs lavin. Her designed were compared to scharpelli Alix ( grés). In the post war era her dresses were worn by socialites and celebrities. Shoulders 14in, armhole 7.5in, bust 36in, waist 27in, hips 40in , length 49.5in. Excellent condition.
