In the mid to late 70s disco was the rage. Sequins were everywhere. This cranberry evening gown designed by Bill Blass has spaghetti straps , fitted bodice and a flared skirt. Could be seen at studio 54 no problem. The sequins are done in an intricate pattern on the diagonal and some are criss crossed especially on the sides so when you moved or sat down the sequins would lay properly and not bunch up. It has a double hem at the bottom which is weighted down so when you danced or walked the gown would flow. Zips up the side, incredible condition, maybe worn once. Measures: shoulders 14in, bust 34, waist 35, hips 38, armhole 8, length 60.
