In 1968 Christian Aujard premiered his first womens ready to wear collection in Paris. His designs were known for their youthful appeal, color, and lively sports wear. This coat from the 1980s was designed by Michele Aujard for unfortunately Christian died in 1977. The coat itself has no closure, is a beautiful soft pink wool, mixed with cashmere, pockets are real and usable, has an interesting piping on the lapel all the way down to the hem and on the sleeve as well. The piping is in three vertical rows in the back. Does have a belt to close. Excellent condition. Shoulders 14in, armhole 8in, sleeves 23.5, bust 36in, waist 30, hips 38, length 43.
