Josephine was Napoleon's wife. This costume is very true to the period and actually a copy of her coronation dress. The puffed sleeved empire gown is made of beige metallic like lace with cream underneath.The sleeves are fitted from the puff part down. There is a floor length long red velvet vest which clips under the breasts with a gold decorative closure , pushing up the breasts{very flattering actually} . The vest has an attached collar which stands up and has sequinned detail trim./ There are gold with ruby jewels at the edge of the bodice across the front. The ensemble is finished with a large rhinestone diamond tiara-like crown. The bust can go up to a 38 and the hips 38-42. It can actually fit an eight to twelve

The hem has a slight train in the back. This dress is empire style and is much more beautiful in real life. The bust fits up to a 38, the waist is empire and can go from 28-32, the hips can go no more than 40.
