The epitome of the 1930s is this dress. Bias cut silk crepe hugs the body in the most complementary way. The bust line is pleated vertically. Just below the bust line there is one seam that is higher in the middle and goes down too the side of the dress on the diagonal often done on 30 dresses so the dress will lay properly on the body. The dress curved the body past the hips. Between the hips and knees the skirt flairs out. The sleeves of this dress are chiffon and have round rhinestones sewn on them. They are full and come in at the cuff. The back has a slit from the top to below the shoulder blades. One has to go over the head with the dress to get into it. Measures as Shoulders 14, Sleeves 23, Armhole 7, Bust 34, Waist 26, hips 38, Length 52 excellent condition for a dress that is 90 years old. One small snag in the back
