1940’s Light Green Wool Antoinette Ligity Jacket Size 8

Everything was sanctioned in the 40s due to the war. Wool was often blended with cotton because they needed it for the uniforms. Jacket has the classic silhouette of the 40s  large shoulders achieved by shoulder pads and fitted waists. The 2 slit pockets at the hip and below the shoulder can be used but are more for decoration. Antoinette Ligity was a dress maker shop in Long Island, made everything from wedding dresses to bathing suits. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 24, Armhole 8, Bust 34, Waist 28, Hips 40, Length 29 Excellent condition
