Fun and whimsical describes this skirt. With its vignettes of South American life. The skirt is black woven cotton which is a heavier cotton often used in the 50s for sportswear. The way it closes is at the waist the front ties go around the back and tie and the back ties go through a slit and tie in the front. This skirt was never used because the slits have not been put in. What makes it fun is the vigilantes that are appliquéd on and stuffed with cotton. They each have a white Llama and flowering cactuses. The people change , some are dancing in colorful outfits other ps look like they are going to be market. Measures as follows Waist up to 28, Hips up to 40, Length 33 Excellent condition. The back picture is off due to the fact that the skirt has not been finished, the slits need to be added on the sides
