1950’s Silk/Cotton Lace Odette Barsa Robe Size 8

After the crash of 1929 Odette Barsa went into the lingerie business because her husband’s business was failing. Sold in high end department stores and had her own shop on 5th Ave in NYC. The robe is made of pale blue silk taffeta with cream Chantilly lace over it. Designed with a large Peter Pan collar which has a silk ribbon underneath it to be tied in a bow. The half sleeves are trimmed with the blue ribbon and edged in a pleated lace. The robe is non fitted and closes with t snaps down the front. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 16, Armhole 8, Bust up to 40, Waist up to 28, Hips up to 40, Length 42 Excellent condition
