In the late 1950s skirts lost their fullnes  often called wiggle skirts for it was hard to walk in. Butter yellow silk  base has bold orange  and yellow flowers on it. The base fabric has metalic net over it giving the dress a shine. Empire waist gives the illusion of height and 2 spaghetti straps finish the dress. Over the floral fabric there is a gold metallic netting at the bust line the net is pleated  vertically. The bolero jacket also has the gold metallic netting on it  with small buttons up the front for closure.
