1960’s Pink/White Polyester Catalina Beach Cover Up Size 8

Catalina swimwear started in 1907 as Bentz Knitting Mills in Los Angeles and in 1928 changed its name to Catalina. I am sure the person who wore this cover up was noticed in hot pink. The white hibiscus pop against the pink. Being a cover up it is non fitted with a round collar and 3/4 sleeves. Clear buttons down the front is how you get in and out. Covers ups were worn at the beach to protect you from too much sun or if you got cold you put it on. They often match the bathing suit underneath. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 22, Armhole 8, Bust up to 38, Waist up to 30, Hips up to 42, Length 37 Excellent condition
