Product Details
Sarmi was an American designer based in New York. He was known for his choice in fabrics. This fabric looks like something out of the Italian renaissance. Dark shade of pink is the base and the scroll work in the brocade is lighter giving a nice contrast. The fitted bodice has a round collar and is sleeveless. The A line skirt has a large pleat in the front. The jacket with its Peter Pan collar and 3/4 sleeves closes at the waist with 1 hook and eye, the bow hides them. This ensemble was owned by the woman who gave Sarmi the funds to start his business.
