Whoever designed and made this dress took inspiration from English Designer Jean Muir. Very similar to Jean’s understated column dress. The vertical pleats bodice finish at the waist which has a simple belt attached to it. The oversized collar and balloon sleeves were in fashion in the mid 1960s. The pleats are also on the cuff with 3 buttons closure in matching fabric. The dress zips up the front with an invisible zipper. Measures as follows shoulders 14, sleeves 22, armhole 7.5, bust 34, waist 26, hips 38, length 39. There are 2 small stains on the belt but when tied cannot be seen and the hem has been taken up
