Sold OutSaleDonald Brooks started out in the costume design business slowly moving to fashion design. His dresses always had drama to them. This late 60s wool blend crepe dress definitely is a star. The dress is very fitted and has wide angular cut outs for the arms and has a collar that looks like a choker. Below the collar there are deep pleats that go just above the bust line. The dress is form fittings pass the hips to a flared skirt. The genius is the thick double hem to weight the skirt down so when you dance or walk it flows with you. The reversed cape is longer in the front to a triangular point pleated below the collar like the dress. The cape ties in the back and has a large hook and eye to help keep it closed.
