Dynasty of Hong Kong was known for their exquisite beading and this is a spectacular example of what they did. Red silk base with the three dimensional dragons done in silver metallic beads which has a iridescent glow when the light hits it. The birds have the same silver beads but also have yellow and orange glass beads in the wings and head. Small white caviar beads adorn the neckline with sprigs of flowers in many shades of colored beads. The sleeves have a bird on it with an elongated tail feathers encrusted in glass beads. The dragon and bird seem to be fighting in the back of the jacket. One of the must incredible jackets we ever had. Measures as follows shoulders 15, sleeves 19, armhole 8, bust 36, waist up to 28, length 32 there is one slight gather of fabric in the front probably from the weight of the beads and another in the back. Beading in excellent condition although this jacket was worn.
