The late 1960s issued in vibrant colors and short hemlines. This dress is a standout example. The base color of the silk organza is a pink salmon with orange and lavender waves running through it. Flowers are 2 shades of blue and look like open Lilly flowers. The yellow ruffle goes around the neckline down the front and on the hem. Cap sleeves are also made of the yellow ruffle. The design of the dress is fitted bodice with a flared mini skirt. The way the dress closes is in the front with a waist band that has 2 hooks and eyes then the outer part goes over and snaps. The are 2 other snaps underneath to make the dress even. Raffaele di Marino was based in Lausanne Switzerland and dresses he made are sewn in an Haute Couture manner.
