An unique evening gown because the fabric is net and is printed, haven’t seen one of these. The bodice of the gown is very fitted with a deep low ved neckline. There is a lining in the bodice but not the sleeves making them shear. At the end of the sleeves there are covered button which is how you close them. The skirt has layers of tulle underneath and the base layer is silk taffeta. The net part of the skirt is pleated so it can accommodate the fullness. The fabric is cotton net which is printed on in large flowers in pink, yellow, blue and orange. The flowers are muted like an impressionist painting. There is a matching shawl which can be used as a belt. There is a number inside 513 which was the owner’s number for George Halley. Measures as follows Shoulders 14, Sleeves 21, Armhole 7, Bust 34, Hips 38, Length 55 excellent condition worn once if that
