Raffael divMari o was a Swiss Couture House who often went to London and Paris to see what the latest fashion trends were. This dress plays homage to Mary Quant a London designer who designed the first mini skirt. Hemline is above the knee dating this dress to about 1967. White collar, cuffs and inner part of the pocket contrasts nicely with the canary yellow. The sleeves are 3/4 so the wearer can show off her bracelets which probably were plastic. The design of the dress is A line. The deep pleat in the back starts at the waist and goes to the hem. The white band in the back at the waist can be taken off with the 2 buttons. There are 2 zippers for closure ,one in the back and the other on the left side which is on a slight angle. The dress is lined in yellow silk.
