This Kimono is exquisite used for ceremonial or perhaps at a court function. The silver lamé is embroidered with red peonies with hints of white to give it definition. The dogwood flowers have a white base with  gold trim. Then the single chrysanthemums are embroidered in soft yellow and gold. There are 9 open fans done in a deeper silver with gold trim. The show stopper is the bird which is embroidered in purple, lavender, gold and red has long tail feathers. The bird on the lower part of the kimono wraps around the front from the back. The embroidery is 3 dimensional and the workmanship is superb. The lining is silk and in a vibrant color of red. The husband who was on a business trip brought this back from Japan for his wife. Measures as follows Shoulders 16, Armhole 10, Sleeves 19, Length 64 Bust, Waist and Hips should fit most due to the fact that the kimono is non fitted excellent condition never used was put away in a drawer when received
