Fun and slightly funky evening gown made by Rose Taft. Rose started her business in 1957 catering to even gowns only. Made with rows of fringe sewn on an acetate base. Each row is sewn on a slight angle so the fringe is perceived as straight an incredible illusion for movement. Each row is double sewn so the fringe will move more unison. The gown is strapless and is held up by large hooks and eyes and a strong zipper in the back. A strip of silk satin is at the top as well at the belt which is pleated measures as follows Bust 36, Waist 27, Hips 38, Length 54 excellent condition
