As the Sixties progressed the hemlines rose to the micro mini. This dress probably dates from the 66 to 68 years because of the length of the hem is mid thigh. The top part of the dress is made of wool crepe and is drop waisted in style giving the dress a 1920s feel. The skirt starts at the hip and has a cream and brown swirl pattern, the skirt itself is made from merino wool. The jacket is made out of wool and has the same pattern of the skirt. The design of the jacket is non fitted with a slight angle, closes with brown plastic buttons. The collar is sewn in a way that it stand out so the brown scarf that matches the top of the dress can go underneath and can be tied in the front. The sleeves of the dress come out of the jacket sleeves showing the cuff and the fabric buttons. The lining of the dress and jacket are chocolate brown silk.
