Maxi skirts were the rage in the mid 1970s often worn with a colored turtleneck that matched one of the less dominant colors of the skirt. the black fabric is actually ribbed in texture. The embroidery is done in crewel style which means not as fine and has a rustic look. The colors are vibrant pinks, yellow and lavender  long slit up the front.
