As women entered the work force in the 1970s they needed comfortable and easy to wear clothing. Diane came up with the idea of the wrap dress one tie goes through a hole on the side wraps around and ties on the opposite side. The dress took off and sold over a million of them in the first 6 months of production. This is a long version Aston called the hostess wrap. The pattern is small red roses with white anemone flowers around it. There is an oversized collar and wide cuffs and a full skirt. The fabric is jersey and it made in Italy. Measures as follows Shoulders 14, Sleeves 22, Armhole 7, Bust 34, Waist 26, Hips 38, length 54/excellent condition appears unworn
