Sold OutSaleAfter marrying into German nobility Diane still chose to go to work she started designing dresses and her fashion career took off. she got divorced in 1973 and moved to New York where she met Diane Vreeland who declared her designs absolutely stunning. In 1974 she launched the wrap dress which sold 25,000 a week. This dress is from the early period for it is a blended cotton/rayon jersey blend and made in Italy. The pattern of the fabric is red roses with leaves around it and a white star flower between the roses. The oversized collar goes to a bed neckline fitted bodice and sleeves and a large oversized French cuff. The dress was designed for the working woman for it’s easy to get it on and it looks great with boots or shoes. Measures as follows shoulders 14, sleeves 22, armhole 7, bust up to 36, waist up to 28, hips up to 40, length 41. Excellent condition appears unworn
