Damon Creations was founded by Davis Rappaport in 1948. It was a men’s knit company and in the mid 1950s his wife Francesca started designing for women. Cream maxi dress in the finest merino wool knitted in the diamond pattern on the bodice. Small ribbed collar opens up with 4 buttons. The dress is sleeveless so can be worn in 3 seasons. In the 1970s women often wore a fitted collarless shirt underneath to give a layer look. It was made in Italy woven outside of Florence Measures as follows Shoulders 15, armhole 7, Bust 36, Waist 28, Hips 38, Length 56 Excellent condition
