Goldworm was founded in 1928 by Gertrude Goldworm known for their knitted dresses and prints. In the late 1940s Gertrude’s son took over the company and found a textile company in Italy willing to do printed knits. This maxi dress is a blend of wool and silk. The pattern is sprigs of wheat with orange poppies and blue cornflowers. The angel sleeves are actually sheer. The fitted bodice has a low rounded collar. The skirt is full and flows when you move. Zips up the back for closure. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 24, Armhole 8, Bust up to 36, Waist 28.5, Hips up to 40, Length 56 good to excellent condition has 2 small holes just above the hem can not really notice them because of the fullness of the skirt.
