Eleanor Bailey and Carol Miller started Gunne Sax in 1967. Their designs were an instant success especially with the hippie movement. They were called prairie chic for some of the dresses look like what was worn in the western movement. The dress i has a round collar with white tape lace trim. At the bust there is a tie that criss crosses, it is pure decorative. Empire waist flows to a full skirt. Sleeves are fitted and has lace trim going down it and at the cuffs. There is a tie that ties in the back. The dress has 2 different prints, the main print has pink roses and small pink daisies. The other print which goes down the front panel is checked with a small pink Canterbury Belle flower in it. The lace trim goes down the panel vertically. There is one large lace flounce at the bottom of skirt. This dress has an 18th century feel with the contrasting fabrics. Measures as follows Shoulders 14, Sleeves 23, Armhole 7, Bust 34, Waist 24.5, Hips 38, Length 54 Excellent condition
