1980’s Black Silk 3 Piece Cocktail Ensemble Size 8

Zelda was a boutique label sold in finer department stores like Bendel’s and Saks. Known for for its 1949s aesthetics and tailoring. This ensemble consists of a dress, jacket and belt. The dress is a shift reminiscent of the 60s which is unusual for Zelda.  Sleeveless and empire waist  flows to to an a line cut.  Zips up the back for closure. The jacket is non fitted and long to about below the hip line. Pockets are for design purposes only. Shiny plastic buttons are how you close the jacket. The back has the same button in the middle of the double vent pleats. The sleeves have a cuff that is sewn on an angle. The belt has  a big rosette in the front and is of a different fabric than the dress.
