1980’s Bob Mackie Blush Chiffon Beaded Top Evening Gown

Bob Mackie is called the King of Glitz. His designs have been worn by celebrities such as Cher, Carol Burnett. This gown is different than most of his gowns because there is a chiffon bottom. Most of his work is all beaded.there are 2 layers of chiffon, the outer layer is very light blush and the second is a darker beige. The 3rd layer is a silk pink. The multicolored layers are ethereal especially when you dance. . The off the shoulder bodice is encrusted with beads and sequins. The sequins are pink and copper an unusual combination but it works. The sequins are beaded in pearls and round small pink beads in a swirl pattern. The bodice is fitted with 3/4 sleeves. The small V in the bust line gives a little tease. This gown was worn in 1987 according to the daughter in Law who brought it in. Measures as follows Shoulders 16, Sleeves 18, Armhole 8, Bust 38,Waist 30, Hips up to 40 Length 57 There is one small stain on the chiffon just below the waist. It is in between the pleats so it is hard to see
