The 80s were total glamour. This evening dress with its silk velvet top is a great example. Sweat heart neckline and fitted sleeves are perfect to shoe off jewelry. Red silk full skirt achieves its fullness by crinolines underneath. There is a scalloped edge at the waist in black sequins. The back has all the drama with it’s oval peak a boo upper back. Below the waist there are layers of pleated silk starting wider at the top and tapering to a single layer.
