Sold OutWorking as the Director of Public Relation for Dior Mary McFadden started her career in the fashion industry. She opened her own business in 1968 but really got recognized in the 1980s for her Pleated dresses that resembled Fortuny. This deep purple gown is one of her bests. It has an ancient Roman vibe to it having 2 long ties going down the front with gold ribbon braided around it. Completely pleated in the tiniest of vertical pleats with 2 large tiers at the bottom. The gown is trimmed in the same gold ribbon as the ties which shows slightly. This gown is is made with couture sewing techniques. Measures as follows shoulders 15, sleeves 20, armhole 8.5, bust up to 36, waist up to 30, hips up to 40, length 54 excellent condition
