Ungaro started his business in 1965 after working for Balenciaga and Courrège. He is most known for his 1980s designs. Mint green silk with black polkadots is so indicative of the 1980s and let’s not forget the shoulder pads! The dress is an oversized shift meaning there isn’t a waist. The lines do go in by the hem giving it a triangle appearance. There are 3:buttons on the left shoulder which is how you get in and out of the dress. There is a sewn in tie at the neck which is uneven so you tied one in the bow and let the other hang and in the back there are 3 large pleats that start at the neck. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 24, Armhole 8. Bust up to 40 , Waist up to 32, Hips up to 40, length 43 excellent condition
