This Chanel dress is from the fall winter 1993 season , and can be worn 3 different ways. First with the 2 pieces together, the over dress  which is silk chiffon is pleated vertically along with the under dress , which gives a 3 tiered layer look. When you take the over dress off the underdress can be worn separately. It has a flapper 1920s style tubular shift  with a drop waist and below the hip line it is pleated vertically. The over dress can be worn separately which will give you a Mini dress. You will need to wear a a slip for that due to the fact that the skirt part is open in the front.  The short over dress was worn with Thigh high Chanel Boots. The small black and gold Chanel buttons  are on the outer dress, there are  4 of them and that is how that closes. There is a zipper on the under dress in the back for closure. Designed by Karl Lagerfeld, it is  a great dress to have and a piece of Fashion history.
