Description : Incredible early 1940's evening gown. Black crepe, beaded bodice, v neck line, cap sleeves. The beaded pattern is different in the back than in the front. Flared skirt, slightly longer in the back. One of Ceil Chapman's original designs. She was the go-to gal for all the socialites in NY. Measures: shoulders 15in, sleeves 4in, armhole 7.5in, breast 34in, waist 26in, hips max at 40in, length 56.5in. excellent condition
