In the mid 1960s a revival of the 1920s fashion style came into vogue. Cloche hats were the latest trend. This silk velvet hat is the perfect cloche style fitted to the head with a small brim. Has 2 gold round bands on each side with a small multi colored string tied around it. The front of the band has a tassel like black strings and in the back has 2 velvet strings sewn to it. Made by Don Marshall a hat designer in New York who’s boutique was across from Bergdorfs. Brim is 6 2 inches wide and crown is 6 inches tall excellent condition
