1980’s Cream Linen and Lace Coat Dress Size 8

This jacket looks like something they would wear in one of those period romance movies, worn out side to protect your dress that is underneath. In actuality it was called a duster. The coat has small shoulder pads. Is double breasted with 2 rows of plastic buttons loose fitting through the bust and waist and flairs at the hem. The shawl collar and cuffs have a dusty pink and brown Chantilly lace which is hand sewn. The hem has cut out work which the lace is inserted and hand sewn a very time consuming process. According to the owner this jacket was made by a local seamstress in Armonk, NY. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 24, Armhole 8, Bust 36, Waist 28, Hips 40, Length 37
