This is an early example from Cáy Artley. She started the company in 1936 in Johnstown PA. She wanted clothing that all women could wear and afford. Made of silk paisley in colors of orange,blue, yellow and black. The bodice is loosely fitted with an oversized rounded collar and short sleeves. The skirt is a bit fitted at the hips and flows to a full skirt. At the waist the is a tie to the right on the inside, the right panel goes over the left and then buttons on the outside with a large clear button. Measures as follows Shoulders 14, Sleeves 8, Armhole 7, Bust 36, Waist 26, Hips 40, Length 41 Excellent condition
