Ralph Lauren started his career at beau brummel a Thai company in Manhattan. He convinced the president of the company to start his own line and he launched the Ralph Lauren corporation in 1967 with mens ties and shirts. By the early 70s he developed a female line from hats to shoes and everything in between. This silver sequin dress is probably from the year 2000-2001 collection. The sequins are sewn in an uneven pattern to give it texture and to allow the light to reflect off of it. It does have a 1960s vibe to it. You can picture Marilyn Monroe wearing. V neckline, low v in the back and zips up the back. Excellent condition. Measures: shoulders 14, armhole 7in, bust 36in, waist 28, hips 38, length 60.
