Lillie Reubin was a high end women clothing store throughout the United States from 1946-1999. This evening suit dates from the mid 60s.has a white mink collar, double round black buttons on silk faille, the pockets are fake, there is a false top in cream so the jacket can never be opened. It was used so when you sat or danced the skirt would not ride up or down. Zippers in the back. Has a beautifully Frenched hem. 1 slit on the left side. Simple in design but very elegant. Jacket can be worn with other items but the skirt can not be. Measures: shoulders 15in, sleeves 22.5in, armhole 8in, bust 35in, waist 27in, hips 38, length of jacket 27in, length of dress 54in. Excellent condition.  Looks unworn.
