This ensemble made of paisley silk velvet in of the greatest of colors turquoise , and can be worn in different ways. Often in the 60s women wore pants and a long tunic style for cocktail parties especially at peoples homes for a less formal occasion. The pants have a slight flare at the bottom, but are wide all the way up. Zips on the left side and two hook and eye closures. The top which is also worn as a dress is slightly above the knee. It is hand beaded in cut steel rhinestone beads, turquoise beads and also in turquoise is a feathered leaf pattern. It is on the cuffs, neckline and bottom of the dress. Slight v neckline almost gives it an Indian Nehru jacket effect. The fabric like said before is silk velvet printed with pink green purple and orange in a modern paisley pattern. Often designers textiles and fashion in the 60s would go to India for inspiration. There are two missing feathers and one or two of the steel beads. Other than it it is in excellent condition.
