Pant suits were the rage in the 70s. They were seen in the work force for the first time. This lavender jacket and pants does have a feel of a 1970s men leisure suit. Even though the jacket is fitted it is straight down with a six button closure and two breast pockets which are usable. Oversized collar and a large cuff. The pants have a slight flare but are not bell bottoms. The pants zip up the front and have a button for closure. The corduroy is cotton and is a fine corduroy. It is made by Jones of NY who were know for their conservative style but wanted to cater to the young generation. Excellent unworn condition. Measures: shoulders 14in, sleeves 24in, armhole 7in, bust 34, waist 23, hips 37, length of jacket 18, length of pants 39. conditiopn excellent
