In 1976 Perry Ellis presented his first womens sportswear line. At the time it was called Portfolio. He then changed his name brand name to Perry Ellis. This evening suit from the 1980s is in one of his favorite colors cream. He often mixed it with gold and silver beading. The lapels resemble a mens tuxedo. They are done with cut steel beads and sequins. The faux pockets also have the same beadwork. The closure is three rhinestone buttons. The suit itself has a 1940s feel to it. The skirt has a slight flare with a back zipper and two pockets in the skirt. The suit was never worn. It was bought at Remien’s in new Rochelle NY. Unworn condition. Measures: shoulders 15in, sleeves 24in, bust 36in, armhole 8, waist 24, hips 38, length of skirt 25, lenth of jacket 26. Never worn with original tags
