1930’s Christine Misset Black Silk Jersey Dress Size 8

Christine Misset is a lesser known designer. There are few of her dresses and most are in museums.  The low Ved neckline is surrounded by rushing. The rushing is done on a slight angle at the bust line to the waist there is a rounded  insert that gradually get larger as it gets to the waist. The Elbow length sleeves are loose on the sides but gather in the middle. Skirt is full with a smooth panel down the front. On the sides of the panel the skirt is pleated. There is a small attached belt that ties in the back. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 19, Armhole 8, Bust up to 36, Waist 28, hips 40, Length 51 There is one small hole at the bust line other than that the dress is excellent condition
