Janet Lynn was a Philadelphia based Fashion company. The company started out as E. Gordon and Company and Charles Noble bought it in 1937 and renamed it Janet Lynn after his granddaughter. She knew all about fashion because she was a model at John Wannamaker. This jumpsuit dates from the late 1960s when fashion went crazy with color and pattern. Deep yellow base with white and orange flowers on it. The leaves and stems of the flowers are brown. Wide straps hold the jumpsuit up. The empire waist is sewn slightly on an angle. There is a built in bra in the top. From the waist down the jumpsuit is non fitted and flowing. The pants are wide palazzo style which make the jumpsuit look like a dress. Zips up the back for closure. Measures as follows Shoulders 14, Armhole 7.5, Bust 34, Waist 28, Hips 38, Length 52 excellent condition This jumpsuit was never used it was a sample and Janet Lynn took it when the company closed
