1970’s Silk Jersey Floral Printed Leonard of Paris. Dress with Scarf Size 8
Product Details
Such a romantic dress in pastel colors of pinks, whites and shades of greens. The dress is made of silk jersey but the sleeves and scarf is made of silk chiffon. The style of the design is very 1920s due to the fact that it doesn’t come in at the waist. Soft muted colors blend into each other almost like an impressionist painting. Open irises are in bold pinks laying on their sides with green leaves. To finish the print there is ribbons running through it in pinks and greens. The puff of the short sleeves is achieved by a gathered band underneath the chiffon. Open yellow irises are on the print of the chiffon. The ruched mock turtleneck has tiny pleats. Scarf can be draped around the neck, tied in a bow or for added drama used head neckerchief. Designed by Leonard which was founded in 1958. Prior to the house opening they were a textile company who made fabrics for Dior and Hermés. Daniel Tribouillard was the head designer and was known for its uses in vibrant colors in silk jersey.
