1980’s Alfred Bosand Red Crepe Cocktail Dress Size 6

Alfred Bosand was a New York based fashion designer, known for his one of a kind dresses made of the highest quality. His dresses were sold at Saks and Bergdorf’s.  This dress has multitude of red scalloped layers. Each is embroidered with a scroll pattern. The fliers of the full short sleeves are sewn on the diagonal so they lay perfectly when you wear them. The open squared neckline enhances the fitted bodice. The fullness of the skirt is achieved by the stiff acetate lining as well as a double hem. This dress is a masterpiece of design.
