1980’s Red Silk Blend Louis Féraud Evening Dress Size 6

Louis Féraud started his Couture House in the early 50s. Known for his elegant designs that were never over the top and his choice of the most exquisite fabrics. Red and black polkadots makes such a statement. The top of the dress is ruched and as you go down towards the hips the rushing gets  looser. The 2 panels at the hips are draped diagonally and sewn down. From below the hips the skirt flairs out with the aid of a crinoline. Badeau collar frames the face . The sleeves do the opposite of the dress the start out very loose ruching and get tighter at the wrist. Zips up the back for closure. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 23, Armhole 7, Bust 34, Waist 26, Hips 38, Length 59 there is one snag down the left bust small
