1990’s Wool Blend Bagley Mischka Evening Suit Size 8

In 1988 Bagley Mischka started their own company, known for their stylish and glamorous evening wear. In the early 90s they  branched out into bridal wear and cocktail suits. This suit is from one of the first collections that had them in it. Made in the USA from a fine wool viscose blend. The design looks like something Rita Hayworth would have worn in the 1940s. Jacket has large shoulder pads and a shawl collar and comes in at the waist. The  beadwork on the sides is in bugle and crystal beads with faux pearls. The side slits on the jacket also have the beadwork. 2 large black crystal buttons is who you close the jacket. Skirt is the basic straight design often called pencil skirt with a back slit, zips up the back for closure. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 24, Armhole 8, Bust 36, Waist 28, Hips 38 Length of Jacket 29, Skirt 28 excellent condition
