1960s Geoffrey Beene Navy Blue Wool Mini Dress-size 3/4

This dress was designed by New York’s most famous fashion designer Geoffrey Beene. He challenged the American fashion establishment by creating haute couture for women in classic designs. This dress from the 60s is a great example of his work. Made out of a wool cashmere blend, umpire in style, with a cream satin ribbon that goes around the neck below the breast area. Full skirt is double pleated so when you sit down the dress will not ride. Lined in silk, zips up the back, In excellent condition.
