1980's Oscar De La Renta Black Sequined Evening Dress Unworn Size 8/9

Oscar De La Renta, evening dress from the fall/winter 84/85 has a beige net underline and a black net base. There is ribbon work as well as sequined in black in a scroll pattern.rounded neckline, fitted sleeves. The dress is very curvaceous on and has a flared hem below the knee like a flamenco dancers costume. Oscar studied under Balenciaga  for many years, hence the Spanish influence on many of his designs. This design particularly was one of Balenciagas favorite designs Measures: shoulders 15in, sleeves 25in, bust 38in, waist 29in, hips 39in, armhole 8.5in, length 51in. This dress was never worn. Pinned to be taken in on the sides but we had taken the pins out.
